Will there be a season 2 of God Eater?

It has been six years since the release of God Eater season 1. Fans have waited for year’s hoping for an announcement for another season. They even expected a new season in the tenth anniversary of the God Eater Video game series, in 2020.  However, there has been no announcement of a new season of the anime on the official website of the anime or the game series.

It might be a while before the anime gets a new season.
