The answer is :
A situation in which a consumer is deceived or given misleading information by a producer is known as consumer exploitation.
Large corporations with a lot of money, influence, and clout can manipulate the market in a variety of ways. To entice customers, they can spread misleading information through the media and other channels. For example, a corporation offered powder milk for babies all across the world for years as the most scientific product, claiming it was superior than mother's milk. The corporation ultimately admitted that it had been making false statements after years of fight. Similarly, cigarette—manufacturing businesses had to fight a protracted legal battle to recognise that their product could cause cancer.
